Meet Our Judges – IDC World Championship Show 2026

We are pleased to present Barbara Zanieri (Italy) as one of the judges for the IDC World Championship Show at Gram Castle.

Born into a family of passionate dog lovers and breeders, Barbara Zanieri developed her dedication to purebred dogs from an early age. She began breeding Dobermanns under the renowned Di Poggopiano kennel, producing numerous Italian and International Champions and establishing a respected reputation within the breed.

A licensed Dobermann judge since 1992, Barbara has devoted more than three decades to judging and promoting the breed at the highest level. She has officiated at many of the world’s most prestigious canine events, including the FCI World Dog Show, European FCI Dog Shows, IDC and ISPU Championships, as well as numerous national specialties and club shows across Europe and almost every continent. Her extensive international experience has given her the opportunity to evaluate Dobermanns from a wide range of countries and bloodlines.

Alongside her judging career, Barbara has contributed to the international canine community through her involvement within the FCI, participating in the Italian delegation at the FCI General Assembly and serving as Vice President of the FCI Mediterranean Section. Widely respected for her professionalism, balanced evaluations, and deep appreciation of breed type, functionality, temperament, and correct structure, she brings exceptional expertise to the judging panel.

We are delighted to welcome Barbara Zanieri to the judging panel of the International Dobermann Club World Championship Show 2026 at Gram Castle, where her knowledge and international experience will be a valuable contribution to this prestigious event.
